ResumeUp is currently in free public beta. No payments are processed and no payment data is collected. Resume content you generate is held in volatile server memory only for the duration of your session and is not persisted to a database. We make no warranties about availability or data retention during beta.

ResumeUp ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our resume building service.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use ResumeUp to build a resume, we collect the information you provide, including:
- Contact information (name, email, phone, location)
- Professional information (work history, education, skills)
- Job posting content you paste for tailoring
During beta we do not collect payment information. Payment processing will be added before any pricing takes effect.
Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect certain information about your device and usage:
- Browser type and version
- IP address and general location
- Pages visited and features used
- Time and date of access
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate your ATS-optimized resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn content
- Provide customer support if you reach out
- Improve our service and develop new features
- Prevent abuse and ensure platform security
- Comply with legal obligations
Data Storage and Security
During beta, your resume data is held in volatile server memory only for the duration of your active session. It is not written to a database and is lost whenever our server restarts (which can happen at any time during beta). If you need to keep a copy, download or copy it before closing the page.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Persistent storage with a defined retention policy will be added before paid plans launch.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn content is generated using Anthropic's Claude API. The information you provide in the form is sent to Anthropic to produce your output. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.
- Railway: Application hosting infrastructure.
Each service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
Because data is held only in volatile session memory during beta, deletion happens automatically when you close your tab or our server restarts. To exercise other rights, reach out via the contact email below.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
